It’s cold and rainy in the ATL!

by Claudine on January 22nd, 2008

Most areas of the city of Atlanta are experiencing rain and temperatures in the low 30s. The weather  in Atlanta is not low enough for the rain to freeze, but of course, the way we drive there are issues on the highways during rush hour. Why is it that we get about a half inch of snow in Atlanta or a good hardy rain, and we just can’t handle our business on the road. Visitors, understand that if you are caught in Atlanta traffic  during inclement weather, there will be a major traffic jam. The traffic jam will not necessarily be the result of  a bad accident but because of all the people who have to watch, point, and play reporter by recounting the accident. There may simply be two cars pulled off on the side of the road, but we just like to watch.  There may be no sign of an accident at all. Hey, we like to see what’s going on. That’s Atlanta. We are a city of rubber neckers. It’s all good; travelers just bring a lot of CDs and DVDs to entertain yourself on the road. You’ll get here.
