Today the place was was bustling with activity. Hair stylists rushed around, dressed in all black, and it appeared as though everyone was preparing for a Hotlanta weekend. It’s a good thing that the new location has a nearby parking deck, and that Nseya validates parking. It’s also a good thing that Copeland’s New Orleans-style restaurant is literally adjacent to Nseya. Get your hair done. Treat yourself to spa services, and have lunch or dinner at Copeland’s.

Speaking of lunch at Copeland’s, I had the catfish, drizzled with sauce with red hot potatoes. It had a mild spicy bite, not too hot, just enough to notice the flavor. It was simply, scrumptous. The service was good, too I thought that I was under dressed, wearing jeans and a sweatshirt, but the hostess assured me that I was “cute, honey.” I trusted her word on that. My server answered my questions and kept my sweet tea refreshed. The restauarant was so cozy and dimly lit, that I thought that it was dark outside. It seemed strange to leave the comfort of the restaurant and step out into bright sunshine. There was even an AMC movie theater in the Towers Plaza where Nseya and Copelands are located. I could have caught a movie. Buckhead isn’t bad at all.

Copelands of Buckhead

3365 Piedmont Road

Atlanta, Ga

Hours are: Monday thru Thursday, 11 a.m. -10 p.m.

Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.-11 p.m.

Sunday 10 a.m.-10 p.m.

Post from: The Atlanta Traveler
