Baby Panda turns 1
Atlanta’s famous baby panda Mei Lin turns one year old on September 6th and to celebrate her birthday, Zoo Atlanta will hold a birthday party at 11am that day complete with a birthday cake and snacks. Mei Lin is the Southeast’s only giant panda cub. She has been bringing hundreds of visitors to the zoo since her birth last year.
A special reception will be held the evening of September 6. Tickets for this adult event is $45 and includes beverages, hors d’oeuvres and giant panda viewing. Visit the Zoo Atlanta website for more information.

She is so adorable! I saw a documentary on her somewhere and I just fell in love with Mei Lin. If I had been in Atlanta I would have gone to celebrate her birthday!
