The Underground is still a popular spot for tourists and Atlanta natives. There has been some talk about Underground Atlanta being unsafe. What do you think?

I love the underground world here in Montreal. Many of the downtown subway stations are all linked underground so you can actually walk a fair distance of the city completely underground by using connecting shopping centers and tunnels which is handy on a rainy day or the dead of winter. I feel pretty safe about it.
What is it that makes people feel it’s unsafe in Atlanta?
