Here are some events that you won’t want to miss in Atlanta for the weekend of April 26-27.

A Midsummer’s Night Dream through May 4th

The play is being performed through May 4th at the New Shakespeare Tavern in Atlanta. 499 Peachtree Street. Call

The Georgia Renaissance Festival through June 1

The festival continues through June 1. If I were not on a diet, I would go there just for the giant turkey legs and the other treats. The festival features costumed performers, shopping, etc., at a Medieval Festival. The festival is located at the Renaissance Festival Fairgrounds, 6655 Virlyn B. Smith Road in Fairburn.

jehery 2008 NBA Playoffs, April 26

Watch game three playoffs at Philips Arena, on Saturday 1 CNN Plaza. The Boston Celtics are playing the Hawks. Get game information on the official Atlanta Hawks Playoffs page.

 

A Night of Deliverance, Gospel Blast

Byron Cage, Dave Hollister, Kim Burrell and Anthony Deion Hill will sing on April 26th at the World of Faith Cathedral in Austell, 212 Riverside Parkway. Admission is $32.

 

AJC International Auto Show

The AJC International Auto Show continues through April 27 at the Georgia World Congress Center, 285 International Blvd. General admission is $10; children get in for $5.

 

Radio Disney Park Jam is on April 26-27th

Radio Disney presents concerts by Radio Disney Artists at Six Flags Over Georgia. Jordan Pruitt is scheduled to perform. Performance times were not posted on the Six Flags site. Try calling the park’s Guest Relations line 770-739-3400 x3298 for the exact performance times. This event is free with park admission!
