Friday Night Jazz at the High
Looking for a romantic, mellow evening of jazz? Well, the High Museum will hold its famous Friday night jazz event this Friday, March 21 from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Robinson Atrium Stint Family Wing.
Jazz trumpeter Marcus Printup will perform. Printup, an up and coming jazz musician has been honored at the National Collegiate Jazz competition. Listen to a little jazz, buy a little food, drink some adult beverages, and chill this Friday.
Oh, and if you are the artsy-type you can try your hand at sketching a live, costumed model at the event. Err, um, in case you are wondering, I assume that the model will be dressed. Sketch boards and pencils will be provided during Friday Night Jazz.
Friday Night Jazz is a monthly event at the High. The next performance is on April 18.
