Get Lost In Little Five Points
Everytime I go for a walk in a dense area like Litte Five Points in Atlanta, I have one thought. I hope that I can find my car. See, I can be a little directionally challenged. I’m the person who is usually walking aimlessly through the grocery store parking lot hoping that I happen upon my car. Nine times out of ten, I have know idea where I parked after leaving the store. Anyway, I solved that little problem when I visited Little Five Points. I parked in this parking lot. See the photo below.
Yes. That’s the Vortex Bar and Grill in Little Five Points. It costs me $2 to park in the lot, and considering the time that I saved looking for my car, it was well worth the price. The Vortex is also well-known by its tempting burgers.
Anyway, Little Five Points has some of best vintage clothing shops. That’s where you’ll find a store called Rag-o-rama, 111, Euclid Ave. where you are encouraged to sell your rags. And people will buy them. It’s called vintage shopping, but it’s really some of the stuff that you’d find in the mall for double the price. The store was packed; a dollar sale was in progress.
There’s also a store called the Junkman’s Daughter, 464 Moreland Ave. with, 10,000 square feet, the sign says, of freaky fashion. I’m not a big fashion expert, so I’ll take their word for it. My freaky fashion exploration is probably going to take at least a full day.
There are also plenty of places to eat in Little Five Points. You can count on eating outside on a patio when the weather is nice.
Little Five points is tight, hip, cool — whatever the kids are saying these days. I found this cool map of Little Five Points, but I didn’t use it much. I had a great time meadering.

Hello, I’m from a very small town in western maryland, and my youth group is going on a missions trip to little five points! looks like a pretty cool place. I little big for what im used to though.
I hope that you have a good time. It’s a little wild (you know, green hair and piercings) but everyone’s pretty friendly. It’s probably not what you are used too, but don’t be scared!
I love Little Five Points. Its like a more colorful, smaller version of Soho.
