Five Things to Love About The Georgia Aquarium

I love the Georgia Aquarium. I can’t get enough of it. Maybe it’s the fact that it’s indoors and it’s cold outside. Anyway I can pinpoint five good reasons to visit the Georgia Aquarium, especially if you are single.

1. It’s easy to park. You don’t have to drive around searching for a parking space. You do need to bring money, though. There’s a parking garage near and uncovered parking across the street from the Aquarium.

2. Singles can hang out there without sticking out. I mention this, because I happen to be single, and there are some restaurants and clubs that are just not comfortable for singles.

3. Families can have a lot of fun there. Of course, the Aquarium is a cool attraction for little ones. There is even a petting section, where children can touch the animals.

4. There is plenty to do. The Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium, because it has 8 million gallons of water and more animals than any other aquarium. I can literally spend all day gazing at the Beluga whales. I get a kick out of watching the 4D movie.  Well, I think it’s neat to get sprinkled with water while watching a movie. There’s good for you  food there. I actually found fruit and healthy food when I visited. That’s definitely a diet-saver!

5. It’s easy to get there. I can be rather directionally challenged, and if I can find the Georgia Aquarium, and get back without a hitch, I’m sure that you can too!

The Georgia Aquarium is located at 225 Baker Street in Atlanta. The phone number is 404-581-4000. Tickets are $24 (Adults), $18 (Children 3-12), $20 Seniors (55+).
