Duluth Fall Festival
The 25th annual Duluth Fall Festival will be held on September 29 & 30, 2007. This yearly festival happens on the last weekend of September with a kick-off parade through the streets of Duluth. The Duluth Fall Festival is one of the most organized festivals I’ve ever been to in Georgia so I highly recommend that you go. I’ve been going for the last few years and have yet to be disappointed. Through the years, the festival has grown bigger. They are expecting over 400 booths of arts, crafts, and food this year which means there’s bound to have something for everyone. Aside from the booths, there are lots of shows lined up including performances from different bands, cheerleading squad, puppeeter, and other entertainers. There is also lots of children’s activities including pony rides, moonwalks, face painting, and many more.
Here are some pictures from last year’s festival:
The festival is held in downtown Duluth. Most roads around the area will be closed but there will be signs to direct you to other routes. Plenty of free parking. Bring cash if you want to purchase food from the participating food booths. There are so many types of food and snacks to choose from including Barbeque, Greek, Chinese, American, and many more.
